Nickel 201 alloy is a pure wrought alloy having similar properties to that of nickel 201 Strips, but it has lower carbon content to avoid embrittlement by inter-granular carbon at high temperatures. Nickel 201 Strips are resistant to acids and alkalis, and dry gases at room temperature. Nickel 201 Strips also shows resistance to mineral acids depending on the temperature and concentration of the solution. Nickel 201 is mostly used in the chemical and electronics industries. Typically Nickel 201 strips are used in processes where sodium hydroxide and fluorine are used.
