Inconel 625 alloy shows high strength and resistance to oxidation, carburization, and other harmful effects of high-temperature exposure. Inconel 625 Shims has high contents of chromium and nickel and also gives good anticorrosive properties. Inconel 625 is the modification of 600 series to control carbon and grain size to optimize stress rupture properties. Inconel 625 shims are made explicitly for high-temperature structural applications.
High resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking and embrittlement from precipitation of sigma phase is offered to our Inconel 625 shims due to the presence of nickel content. The general corrosion resistance is remarkable. In the solution annealed condition, Inconel 625 shims show superior creep and stress rupture properties.
